Preps will be discussing how they can see Science in their everyday lives and will be investigating how things move. This will include the human body and familiar objects in their environment like toys and balls.

Year 1 and 2 will also be looking at Science in the world around them, as well as a variety of basic forces . They will investigate how toys move and participate in some floating and sinking activities.

Year 3 and 4 will be developing their Science understandings through a variety of Science inquiries. They will study Science concepts through ‘The Bottle Flip Challenge’, and designing and testing a catapult that they build.

Year 5 and 6 will be involved in a variety of STEM activities including investigations such as: The Great Bottle Flip Challenge and A Fidget Spinner Challenge. The students will be looking at the Science Inquiry process, controlling variables, fair testing and analyssing data.
